The Liu menu takes the majority of its influence from Cantonese cuisine, leveraging the great knowledge and influence Chef Jacky brings from his native Canton region of China. However there are also very distinctive influences from other areas including Sichuan, Shanghainese, Beijingese and Yunanese cuisines, as well as Thai, to mention but a few. The chef’s marvelous Peking Duck is must-try for all those who truly enjoy the most exquisite things in life. Its crispy skin and succulent melt-in-your-mouth meat is carved right at your table and served with the classic pancakes and condiments.

Nice jewel of a restaurant in Conrad Bangkok

Excellent quality and service. Great ambiance. We were greeted with kindness and smiles. We received attention as if we were the only customers in the restaurant. Relaxing atmosphere with soft music and lighting. Cashew nuts were served as we reviewed the menu. A couple of recommendations upon our request were delicious. We enjoyed the shrimp fritters, a hearty hot and sour soup, sticky rice with crab, sweet and sour chicken, red rose tea and fresh chilled mango pudding. The food quality was exceptional. Undoubtedly, a jewel in the crown of Conrad Bangkok.

When we stay at the Conrad Bangkok we always have dinner at Liu. The dishes are really fantastic and the restaurant manager Kat is full of kindness and smiles. We love the dish with shrimps and melon. Really great!

Most Probably The Best Chinese Food In Thailand

It was our anniversary and we decided to eat in the hotel. The choice of fine dining fell to either Chinese or Japanese and we decided on Chinese adn it was definitely the right choice. The food was sublime and the chef delightful. We started with a crabmeat soup which was delicious, however, we followed up with a beef in red wine sauce and chicken with garlic that were both superb. These were complimented with some chinese vegetables and some ice cream to finish with. The food was impecably presented and served and it was a pleasure to commend the chef after dinner. A lovely meal and a perfect way to celebrate our anniversary. We will definitely return for more culinary delights the next time we are in Bangkok.
